Julie Foreman Photography

Julie Foreman is a street photographer, capturing people and places with a camera lens.  A native of Chicago, she travels around the world producing images of city and village life, whether its New York’s Upper West Side, Tuscan villages, or, as in this photograph, the streets of Buenos Aires.

The predominant theme in her work is how people spend their days, capturing the ordinary and turning it into art.  Her fascination with faces and architecture is also evident.

Foreman has exhibited at galleries and cafes in the Chicago area as well as in Tuscany.  In June 2008, she curated and exhibited in “A Minyan Without Men,” a show of Jewish Women Artists at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago.

Foreman studied photography at Columbia College,  Chicago and the Maine Photography Workshop.
